Parker Vaughn, owner and chef at both Jackson’s Corner and Blue Eyes Burgers and Fries, is the single biggest supporter of local food in Central Oregon and, as it turns out, one of Pitchfork-T’s most fervent supporters.  He drives the menus at his restaurant in a way that fully embraces the season and cost of food raised here - by both farmers and ranchers. Parker has provided the demand that made the expansion of Pitchfork-T beef possible, for which we are forever grateful.  Blue Eyes is now open seven days a week and is the best smash burger of all time. Better yet, they serve exclusively Pitchfork-T beef. 

RAINSHADOW ORGANICS AND PITCHFORK-T

Pitchfork-T and Rainshadow Organics are two halves of a whole. In fact, Ashanti was a big part in the expansion of the full-diet at Rainshadow Organics.  Sarahlee was hellbent on eating from the farm and he believed that should include sustainably raised proteins. When Rainshadow Organics expanded their CSA to offer meats, the demand kept Ashanti and his cattle busy.  In 2015 the farm store was built with the farm-to-table kitchen and the full-diet program and Ashanti and his team made sure the Rainshadow Organics farm family and customers were well stocked with beef.
